We
can’t leave Thessaloniki without visiting the Archeology Museum. It’s in a very
modern building just a short walk for us. There’s a notice at the desk
describing the effects of the austerity budget, laying off museum workers and
archeologists, with more cuts to come. The three people sitting at the entry
desk sure seem to be earning their keep.
